Shortly after completing studies in art history and music at University of Oregon, Nicole began her career in the arts upon moving to New York City in 1996. After two years in the business department of the Guggenheim Museum, she pursued opportunities in the music industry. While employed at a boutique music law firm, Nicole worked with independent record labels and musicians, and began managing performers. In 1999 she moved to the prominent film and music law firm Rudolph & Beer, LLP. In addition to her position as a Legal Assistant and Artist Manager, Nicole worked with singers and performers independently.
Nicole returned to her home state of California in 2003 to further pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She attended film classes at UCLA Extension and worked on various indie projects, including the short film "MMA", which she co-produced and co-edited. In April 2006, Nicole completed a 3-month
intensive course in creative and technical editing at
New York Film Academy at Universal Studios and learned
Avid basics at Moviola Education Center.
